As an internationally oriented company, Skarke GmbH has stood for innovative, reliable, and high-quality products and first-class service for over 30 years.
The ecological and economic environment, as well as the expectations and requirements of interested parties, are constantly changing.
Skarke GmbH is fully aware of its social and corporate responsibility.
Based on this awareness and a future-oriented corporate strategy, Skarke GmbH expanded its existing quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 to include the areas of environment in accordance with DIN 14001:2015 and occupational health and safety in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 in 2024 and converted it into an integrated management system.
Quality, environmental protection, safety, and health protection are not only determined by the properties that are directly verifiable in the product.
The requirements of our customers and other interested parties are the driving force behind all our activities and determine the quality of our products and services, while constantly taking environmental, safety, and health aspects into account. The interests and wishes of our customers and employees are always at the center of our actions. Meeting these requirements is our top priority and serves to ensure long-term customer loyalty and the lasting success of our company.
Key components of our quality, environmental, and safety philosophy include compliance with current technical standards, responsible use of resources, and adherence to all applicable regulations for safety and health in the workplace.
When developing products, we place great importance not only on fulfilling legal and quality obligations, but also on environmental protection and the safety of our employees and customers. Due to our commitment to our employees, we focus not only on the quality criteria mentioned above, but also on compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
We can only achieve consistently high quality, effectiveness, environmental protection, and occupational safety at Skarke GmbH with well-trained, responsible, and actively involved employees.
The protection, involvement, and motivation of our employees are therefore one of the central tasks of our integrated management system and our management.
The sustainable processes and adherence to high quality, environmental, safety, and health standards in our company are our contribution to maintaining and strengthening the trust of our customers and employees in Skarke GmbH.
This policy has been approved by senior management and is regularly reviewed to ensure that it remains up to date.
Compliance with and implementation of the IMS policy is reviewed at regular intervals and the results are documented in the annual management review.
With this policy, we want to continuously improve our performance in terms of energy, quality, the environment, health, and occupational safety by committing ourselves to:
- Comply with applicable legal requirements.
- Preventing illness and injury, eliminating hazards and stress as far as possible, minimizing any remaining hazards, and continuously improving our occupational health and safety management system.
- Involve employees and their representatives in occupational health and safety measures.
- Noise protection measurements and noise assessments to prevent complaints about noise pollution and reduce potential hearing damage.
- Continuously reducing our energy consumption and avoiding environmental pollution.
- Identify and minimize operational risks and define appropriate risk management measures.
- Procuring and executing our products and services in the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly way possible, promoting the sustainable use of resources, protecting biodiversity and ecosystems, and adapting to climate change.
- To constantly focus on identifying, evaluating, and implementing customer requirements and wishes, and to continuously improve ourselves.
- Documenting and communicating our management activities within our company across all levels.
- Communicate and make our IMS policy available to all persons working on our behalf and to the public.
- Continuously review, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of our integrated management system.
- Review, evaluate, and, if necessary, adjust our core processes at least every two years.
- Define, pursue, and communicate specific, measurable, appropriate, realistic, and time-bound goals with the necessary resources.

Our IMS policy is published on the Internet and in the IMS manual, and is therefore available for inspection by all employees and interested parties without restriction.
